WHO: Atlanta Party Starters introduces a fashionable "party with a purpose" to benefit the disaster relief fund of the Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Each year, the Metro Atlanta Red Cross responds immediately to more than 700 disasters, including house or apartment fires (the majority of disaster responses), hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, hazardous materials spills, and other natural and man-made disasters in our 15 county area. Trained Red Cross volunteers and staff are ready 24-hours-a-day, year-round to meet the disaster-caused needs of people in our community. For more info, visit www.atlantaredcross.org.
WHAT: Cocktails & Cosmetics is an exclusive, private shopping experience that encourages guests to shop for a good cause while enjoying cocktails, refreshments, spa treatments, special merchandise discounts, entertainment, door prizes and more. Don’t worry, we didn’t leave the guys out – Cocktails & Cigars events will be held at select venues targeting men! Event details vary by location.

TICKETS: $20 advance online, $25 at the door. Space is limited at each event, purchase tickets today. Online ticket sales end the day before each event. How You Can Help
The Red Cross projects that the cost of the 2008 Hurricane Season is currently between $25 and 30 million, and that does not include Hanna, Ike, Josephine, and other tropical systems that may develop. Hurricane season runs through November 30.
Donations to the disaster relief fund are urgently needed. The fund is used to provide shelter, food, clothing, counseling, and other emergency assistance to people affected by thousands of disasters across the country each year, including the Hurricanes of 2008.
